Turbine Procurement

〇Leading turbine selection for onshore and offshore projects
o Acting as the main contact point for WTG manufacturers
o Responsible for WTG RFP process
o Preparing inputs to financial modelling
o Driving load analysis by the supplier
o Development of technical requirements

〇Using applied turbine knowledge to support the activities listed below within GPI
o Layout design
o Certification activities
o Mgmt of WTG Supplier during construction phase
o Technical support during operation

〇Lead negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreements and Service Agreements
o Ensuring risks during construction and operation are reduced
o Managing interface risks to other contractors (BOP Civil/Electrical)

〇Lead new technology implementation projects to improve GPI’s commercial position

〇Contributing to GPI’s broader commercial strategy

【Background and Overview】
GPI continues to expand their activities in the wind power industry, with many projects under development both onshore and offshore. The WTG Group has also grown in the last year and now consists of four people supporting wind power projects across the entire lifecycle with a particular focus on Turbine Procurement, Selection and Contracting in the development phase but including also general technical support for turbine matters in construction and operation

【Minimum】
・Master of Science/Engineering/Mathematics
・3 Years Wind Industry Experience in a Techno-Commercial Role
・Strong written and spoken English language skills

【Preferred】
・Experience with Project Management Software
・Technical wind turbine knowledge across sales, construction and/or operation phases
・Japanese language
・Contracting Experience
・Able to multitask effectively
・Ability to communicate with a wide range of people in different areas
